ELSim™ Exsanguinating Limb Simulator
This hybrid simulator teaches and provides practice in control of lower limb hemorrhage using compression, pressure dressings, and tourniquets.
Users work within the context of case scenarios that reflect real-world combat situations. They interact with the simulator's sensored limb, which "bleeds" and responds to the application of pressure or a tourniquet.
Using embedded metrics, the system measures tourniquet location, as well as direct and circumferential pressure.
The ELSim™ system helps medics master compressible hemorrhage control techniques and proper use of tourniquets. Find out how ELSim can meet your medical readiness needs
