Decisionmaking Modeling

Rapid Trauma Training
In this simulation/strategy case-management system, military surgeons apply trauma decisionmaking skills in the context of a forward surgical team (FST).

Surgeons are presented with real-world combat case scenarios that they manage virtually. Each scenario is based on an actual case from recent conflicts and users work within the resource-constrained environment typical of an FST.

Enhanced pre-deployment training of US military surgeons in the essential skills of trauma surgery within a combat environment has the very real potential to improve patient outcomes.
