Surgical Simulation Training
SimQuest's open surgical training simulation suite will address the worldwide need for transparency and objectivity in basic surgical training.
Each module virtually replicates open surgery on a live patient, with content that includes individual skills and procedures that build upon skills.
Users stand as they would in an operating room and move their hands and tools as if they were performing surgery. They hold real surgical instruments attached to force-feedback devices that give them the feel of performing surgery on a real patient.
The system will enable civilian surgeons to gain hands-on experience with a variety of surgical conditions and procedures, allowing them to practice to proficiency before operating on patients, thereby minimizing patient risk.
